Quality and Environmental
In our continuous strive to deliver quality products Unfors RaySafe has implemented a comprehensive Quality System.
The Unfors RaySafe Quality System ensures that all products fulfill the latest requirements from governments and the industry. As a customer you can rely on having accurate results utilizing the latest technology together with a certified quality and calibration.
We care for the environment
As part of a joint project with the U&We, we are helping small-scale farming families in Nicaragua to reforest underutilized portions of their land. Through better land-use management and more sustainable use of forest resources, the project increases the forest cover of the nearby watershed and improves the quality of life of San Juan de Limay residents in Nicaragua. The climate compensation service is called ZeroMission and we support the Taking Root’s Limay Community Carbon Project (see certificate).
We take our social/environmental responsibility very serious. With this project we aim to climate offset the environmental impact of CO2 emission from the air travel of our staff and from our goods transportation to and from our manufacturing site in Billdal Sweden.
In 2012 the total CO2 emission of our company was around 240 ton (90 ton air flights, 150 ton from transportation) and the total offset achieved was double the amount, namely 480 ton (factor 2).
Unfors RaySafe has during 2012 also switched over to more environmental tariff electricity (see certificate).
Environmental Policy
We at Unfors RaySafe declare our full engagement to environmental commitments. We will incorporate environmental work and thinking in all of our activities to permeate the whole organization.
We will take a clear stand to environmental care with applicable demands and legislation as a minimum standard.
We will define environmental targets, which will be constantly improved and tightened to consistently increase our environmental performance.
Our environmental thinking are to be communicated to all parties involved with our company; employees, partners and stakeholders.
Quality Policy
We at Unfors RaySafe shall strive to continuously improve the quality and secure that we live up to the demands of the regulations and the demands and expectations of the customers. The quality work shall be focused on minimizing errors within the frame of what is economically defendable.
- We must understand demands and expectations of the customers within our respective area of responsibility.
- We shall have a non-prestigious relation in identifying and solving problems.
- We shall continuously improve our products and train our personnel to meet customers’ expectation.
- We shall ensure protection of our customers’ instrument and confidential information when at Unfors RaySafe for Service.
- We shall provide an impartial and reliable Service to our customers in committed time.
- We shall comply with ISO 17025.
ISO Certification
Unfors RaySafe has been certified to the following standards:
